Collegiate Student Memberships within Professional Marketing Organizations

Today I saw Mario Vellandi's illustration to depict a Visualization of Word of Mouth. His picture conveys how WOM is not always positive (via "promoters") since there are also "passives" who don't spread any WOM at all and "detractors" who may tell the most people about their dissatisfaction.
But, that's not my primary reason for writing this post. After seeing Mario's diagram, it made me think of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) which I often rely on to learn about groundbreaking research regarding WOM. It is too bad that WOMMA does not have student memberships available at this time to help college students learn about the benefits of their organization.
